Alfie is a alligator that belongs to the Middle Learning Community. LZ19 won him at the last MLC assembly for fantastic behaviour. Here is Alfie's adventures in LZ19.

Today Alfie did handwriting, spelling and integrated studies. He at morning tea with Derick and lunch with Brenda, yum! He had fun at music with Brenda making soundscapes of thunderstorms. Alfie had a great time with his buddies Derick, Brenda and William.26th October 2011
"Alfie did SSR and art. He also came up to the school office with me," said Kartik."Alfie played with me at playtime and he had great fun," said Dane.
"Alfie and I used the computer and played Dino run. At morning tea he tried to eat my biscuit," said Sang Woo.

Today Jun took Alfie to jump jam. He enjoyed all the jumping around. He had some quiet time reading and doing maths. Alfie went to morning tea with Aimee and they played a game. In the afternoon he drew with Megan and did some research on the computer about the high country in NZ.28th October 2011
Today Caleb took Alfie to assembly and Alfie clapped after the awards and presentations. Caleb and Alfie did their spelling tests. Later Alfie ate hot chips and then Faadhil took care of him while Caleb had a drink.Victoria took Alfie to watch the boys play soccer and then they went to the library to read books. Victoria gave him to Ariel. She taught him to do gymnastics and then he went to have a nap. What a busy day!

On Monday Alfie and I had lots of fun. At lunchtime we played with Aimee. She was a really good friend! I was playing fetch with Alfie. Before I said goodbye to Alfie, he drew me a lovely picture. Farewell Alfie.1st November 2011
Bahar had a fun time with Alfie. He looked like a boss to me with those pink glasses and sword that we made from lego. Alfie had a baby friend on Tuesday. His name was Alex. Alfie Rocks! Paula, Muriahua and I took a photo of Alfie. It was a fun day!

Adi, Gurjas, Timothy and Faadhil played with Alfie on the playground. We all ate lunch with him. We made him as fat as we can. We went to music with Alfie. That was our fantastic day with Alfie.7th November 2011
Jessica played with Alfie today. When he met her little brother, he was whispering secrets to Alfie. When Alfie arrived at the playground Jeremy threw him up into the sky and down again. Alfie like the monkey bars but he got a little stuck. Today Alfie had a fabulous time!8th November 2011
Today Connor, Faadhil and Dane had fun with Alfie. Faadhil played with Alfie at lunchtime and his brother made him look like a superhero. We gave him a last name- Croco!9th November 2011
"In the morning we did reading with Mahy. Then we did probability in maths with Alfie," said William."Alfie helped me with my spelling and we both went to Super Readers in ACE," said Sang Woo.
" I read to Alfie at silent reading time and then we learnt a type of art from South Africa," said Caleb.

Ryan and Alfie gave gymnastics a go. Brenda helped Alfie to do a cart wheel. We had lots of fun together. Jeremy looked after Alfie after morning tea.14th November 2011
Alfie welcomed Miss Thomas back from London. He helped Aimee with her reading tasks and her maths game. Jun took him out for fresh air at morning tea and lunchtime. He helped Brenda with her typing practice on the sun computers in the afternoon.15th November 2011
Today Alfie kept an eye on half of LZ19 while the rest of the class were off at rehearsals for the Arts festival next week. He helped the boys use the technix to build interesting vehicles. In the afternoon he helped Muriahua and her partner complete their research on NZ habitats.
